From June 1, 2026, new taxi operating rules come into force in Warsaw. All drivers must be familiar with these changes.
Main Changes
Stricter requirements have been introduced for the technical condition of vehicles. Now a technical inspection must be carried out every 6 months instead of 12.
Requirements for drivers have also been tightened: mandatory medical examination every 2 years for drivers under 60 and annually for drivers over 60.
New Requirements for Documents
All drivers must have an updated taxi license. Those who have not renewed their license in the last 3 years must go through the renewal procedure before June 1.
